JetStream Federal Credit Union celebrates 75th anniversary
MIAMI LAKES, FL (February 9, 2023) — JetStream Federal Credit Union is celebrating its 75th Anniversary all year long by launching several new campaigns, products, services, and a new website! The Credit Union was founded in 1948 when ten FAA employees gathered at the home of JetStream’s first CEO Jack Wilkie and decided to form their own credit union. Today the credit union serves over 14,000 members in Miami Dade County and Puerto Rico with assets of $238 million. The Credit Union continues its mission, “dedication to our members’ prosperity”, through its unique blend of consumer, business, and community development financial programs.
“We continue to deliver on our promise of strengthening the communities we all share” said Jeanne Kucey, President & CEO “JetStream takes pride in participating in fundraising events to support the Salvation Army, Boy Scouts of America, and The Edge Toy Drive. We sponsor the Miami Lakes State of the Town, which benefits the Miami Lakes Educational Center Culinary Arts Program. In addition, we participate in internship programs at both the high school and college levels in partnership with the Center for Financial Training. We continue our online financial literacy outreach by working closely with members, schools, and businesses in our community to provide bilingual financial guidance on various topics”.

Kucey went on to say “As we move forward into 2023, JetStream continues to serve as our members’ trusted financial partner while operating from a position of financial strength as evidenced by excellent examination and audit ratings, and capital and liquidity ratios that far exceed regulatory requirements. We are exceptionally proud of our JetStream team who work hard to ensure we are always there for our members, our community — and for one other.
