Joseph Abbott named United Federal Credit Union Statesville Branch Manager

ST. JOSEPH, MI (June 6, 2014) — Joseph Abbott has been appointed to the position of Branch Manager at United Federal Credit Union (UFCU) in Statesville, N.C.  In his new role, Abbott will be responsible for providing operational leadership to branch staff, including staff development, retention, and growth of branch sales performance.

Abbott was previously a Member Service Advisor at the UFCU Statesville Branch, where he sold and delivered credit union loan, deposit, investment, business, electronic and convenience products and services; built and reinforced Member relationships through efficient response to Members’ service requests, and acted as the primary source of product information and service support for Members and staff.

Prior to joining UFCU, Abbot held business and financial management positions with the Randy Marion Automotive Group and Wachovia/Wells Fargo in Statesville.

A longtime Statesville resident, Abbott is currently studying Business Administration at Mitchell Community College.
