Keynote speakers announced for CUNA Experience Learning Live! 2016

WASHINGTON, DC (May 2, 2016) — Credit Union National Association has announced the keynote speakers for this year’s CUNA Experience Learning Live!, Oct. 23-26, 2016, in Nashville, Tennessee. Joining the training-focused event will be songwriter and radio host, Patrick Henry, Executive Director of The eLearning Guild, David Kelly and inspirational comedian, Judson Laipply.

“They come from different backgrounds, yet all three of these keynoters have a clear understanding of how to connect with a variety of audiences, which makes them a great fit for CUNA Experience Learning Live!,” said Courtney Cantwell, instructional design manager at CUNA. “We enthusiastically welcome Patrick, David and Judson to this event and look forward to their diverse perspectives on training issues.”

Henry’s keynote session, “Becoming Remember-able,” will take place on Oct. 24. Henry will explore how trainers can make a greater impact on their audience by utilizing humor and establishing an emotional connection.

Kelly’s keynote session, “eLearning’s Role in Today’s Training Strategy,” will be presented on Oct. 25. Drawing on his extensive knowledge of the training industry, Kelly will examine the ways technological change is propelling eLearning to greater prominence in the credit union movement, while also highlighting top training providers for financial services organizations.

Laipply’s keynote session, “Life is Change,” will take place on Oct. 26. Creator of the super hit viral video “The Evolution of Dance,” Laipply will offer a presentation that combines humor with neuroscience to offer a practical, healthy approach to the abundant change that both life and credit union training have to offer.
