Lafayette Federal Credit Union welcomes Ali Nassirian as Senior Vice President of Secondary Sales & Lending Solutions

ROCKVILLE, MD (July 23, 2024) — Lafayette Federal is pleased to announce the appointment of Ali Nassirian as the new Senior Vice President of Secondary Sales & Lending Solutions.

Ali brings over two decades of extensive experience in the lending industry, showcasing a proven track record of success in leading high-performing teams and managing substantial loan production. He has helped establish and scale secondary departments and execution strategies for numerous credit unions, as well as institute new methods that foster liquidity and balance sheet growth.

Ali comes to Lafayette Federal from Travis Credit Union, where he served as the Vice President of Consumer & Home Loans. In this role, he was responsible for overseeing $1 billion in lending volume annually across both consumer and mortgage lending departments. Prior to this, he was Vice President of Home Loans at Golden 1 Credit Union where he led three origination models—Consumer Direct, Retail, and a branch Loan Officer model—managing an organization of over 180 staff. Under his direction, the team funded over 23,000 loans, resulting in more than $15 billion in volume.

A results-driven leader, Ali’s background is richly experienced in establishing and leading secondary lending departments, evaluating risks, performing market analysis, and managing business pipelines. His comprehensive background makes him a valuable addition to the Lafayette Federal team.
