DECATUR, IL (December 8, 2014) -- Land of Lincoln Credit Union (LLCU) has merged with the former Sangamo Chapter Credit Union to offer products and services to all those who live or work in Sangamon County, Illinois.
“We are thrilled about our partnership with Sangamo Chapter Credit Union. This allows us to offer a Springfield branch not only to Sangamon County employees and Sangamon County residents, but also to our growing membership including St. John’s Hospital employees and United Methodist Ministries Credit Union members from a previous merger,” said Mac Dunaway, CEO of LLCU.
Effective December 1, 2014, Sangamo Chapter members are able to transact business at their local Springfield branch in addition to any of LLCU’s (10) branches including locations in Bloomington, Decatur, Effingham, Mattoon, Pana and Vandalia.
“Our members are already benefitting from all that LLCU has to offer,” said Jonan Tiarks, Springfield branch manager. “We’ve had a lot of positive feedback about the expanded services and special promotions we are now able to provide through LLCU.”
