Land of Lincoln Credit Union will reopen lobbies on Friday, May 29

Land of Lincoln Credit Union (LLCU) announced today that all LLCU offices throughout central Illinois will re-open lobbies beginning Friday, May 29th.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, LLCU lobbies have been closed to members and facilities have been operating as drive-up only since March 19th. On FRIDAY, MAY 29th, 2020, all LLCU lobbies (with public lobbies) will be open to members for service once again with regular business hours. Each branch will adhere to social distancing guidelines and recommendations set forth by the CDC and the IDPH including, but not limited to, the following:

  • Members and Staff are asked to wear face coverings while in facilities. (Members may be asked to briefly lower face coverings if a transaction requires a positive identification).
  • Limited capacity will be allowed in each branch lobby. The capacity for each branch will be posted.
  • Temperatures and health of staff will be monitored daily.
  • Branches will undergo cleaning and sanitization throughout each workday and at the end of each shift.

More vulnerable members and/or members who are ill, are encouraged to continue to utilize the drive-up, online and telephone services, to ensure your safety.

“We are very eager to re-open our lobbies and be able to provide in-branch service to our members once again,” stated Robert Ares, LLCU CEO. “While we are happy to move to this phase, the well-being of our staff and members is paramount and will be our main focus during the transition to this ‘new normal’ that everyone is facing together.”

Please visit the LLCU website at www.llcu.org for more information regarding guidelines and procedures for the reopen of our lobbies.
