Landmark Credit Union and Dodge Central Credit Union Announce Merger

New Berlin, WI – Dodge Central Credit Union, with $52 million in assets, is merging with Landmark Credit Union, pending regulatory approval and a vote by the Dodge Central members. Dodge Central and Landmark Boards of Directors have already approved the merger.

“We are very happy to welcome Dodge Central’s 9,750 members and 33 employees to the Landmark family,” said Jay Magulski, Landmark President.  “This merger allows us to strategically expand our branch locations and better serve all members in the area. We continue to execute on our brand promise, which is to bring consistent value and convenience to our members.  We do this with great rates on loans and deposits and excellent customer service.  And, we continue to offer free checking accounts and products and services with no or low fees.  We work hard so our members can truly benefit from the value that only a credit union delivers.”

The merger adds locations in Beaver Dam, Juneau, Mayville and Fall River and widens Landmark’s charter to include Columbia, Marquette and Fond du Lac counties.” Dodge Central Credit Union also has an in-school branch inside Beaver Dam High School.

“Our two credit unions share a belief in excellent customer service as well as a focus on employee satisfaction and a commitment to community involvement,” said Barbara Campbell, President and CEO of Dodge Central Credit Union. “It is rewarding to be able to offer our Dodge Central members an expanded list of products, services and locations that Landmark brings,” said Campbell. Campbell will join Landmark Credit Union as a Regional President and continue to work from the Beaver Dam location.

The target date for the merger is December 31, 2012, with the merging of Dodge Central’s member accounts into Landmark’s computer system in the spring/summer of 2013.

Landmark Credit Union is $2 billion strong, with 489 employees who serve more than 196,000 member/customers at 25 locations throughout Southeastern Wisconsin. The merger will bring the number of Landmark locations to 30.
