Leadership announcements from Marine Credit Union

LA CROSSE, WI (July 2, 2018) — Marine Credit Union recently announced several additions to their leadership team that will support the company’s continued growth.

Marie MacGlashin has been named Director of Deposit Operations. MacGlashin joined Marine in August 2016 as Contact Center Director. She has made significant improvements to the Contact Center and led the credit union’s recent merger with Bent River Community Credit Union. In her new role, she will oversee both the Contact Center and deposit account support operations for the company.

Jason DeGarmo has been named District Manager in Fond du Lac District. Since joining the Marine team in September 2017, DeGarmo has been serving as a Consumer Loan Officer (CLO) and Branch Manager at offices throughout the company. Most recently he supported the team in Rushford, Minn., as Branch Manager.

Andrew Wapneski has been hired as a District Manager. Wapneski has more than 10 years of cross-functional management experience, eight of those years in the financial industry. He returns to Marine from BMO Harris Bank where he served as Vice President and Retail Bank Manager for BMO Harris Bank. He previously worked in Marine’s Fond du Lac District from 2011-2014.

Kellee Fabry has been named Talent Acquisition Manager. Fabry will lead the Recruiting Team in hiring new employees as Marine continues to grow. Fabry joined Marine in 2014 as a CLO in Suamico, Wis. She was promoted to Member Services Supervisor, Senior CLO and Associate Branch Manager at Suamico, before moving to Ripon, Wis., as Branch Manager in 2016. She has served as Branch Manager in Green Bay since June 2017.

Mindy Casper has been named Branch Manager in Suamico. Casper joined Marine in March 2015 as a CLO. She was promoted to Mortgage Loan Representative in February 2016.

Michael Mallek joined Marine Credit Union as a Branch Manager. Mallek has more than 15 years of management experience, four of those years in the financial industry. He joins Marine from OneMain Financial, where he served as a Branch Manager.

Laura Erschnig has been named Branch Manager in Davenport, Iowa. Erschnig joined Marine in January of 2017 as a CLO in Chippewa Falls, Wis.
