ONTARIO, CA (November 3, 2022) — During the League Awards Ceremony on the second day of REACH 2022, credit unions, organizations, volunteers and leaders — including Leo H. Shapiro Lifetime Achievement Award recipient Jeff Napper — were recognized in front of their peers!

Those who have gone above and beyond in contributing to the credit union movement across California and Nevada were honored for their hard work, integrity, and commitment to the credit union movement and their members, including League Award, Advocacy Award, and Chapter Award recipients.

California and Nevada Credit Union Leagues President and CEO Diana Dykstra commended these leaders on their guardianship of the industry and its ideals as they continue serving members. “Each honoree, whether an individual or an organization, has proven their commitment to the credit union movement in so many ways,” she said. “We want to commend them for doing great things in their communities and for their members.”

Dykstra especially applauded and complimented Napper, president and CEO of LBS Financial CU. “Jeff Napper is a strong advocate of credit unions because he believes in the collective power of credit unions,” Dykstra said. “He lives and breaths the philosophy of ‘people helping people’.”

Napper said it was a privilege to be honored while showing his sincere appreciation for this prestigious yearly award. “I am truly honored to receive this award, and I am in awe of the legendary names of previous winners and their contributions to our movement,” he said. “Always do what’s best for your members and employees. Success will surely follow.”
