Neighbors Federal Credit Union is proud to announce that Leah Jenkins, Vice President – Talent Development at Neighbors Federal Credit Union, has graduated as a member of the Class of 2025 from the esteemed Southwest Credit Union Management School (SCMS), held at Texas Christian University in Fort Worth, Texas.
The graduation marks the successful completion of a rigorous, three-year program of concentrated study designed to advance credit union leadership and strategic management skills. This prestigious accomplishment reflects Jenkins’s dedication to excellence, professional development, and the continued success of Neighbors Federal Credit Union.
Southwest Credit Union Management School is recognized as one of the nation’s premier credit union management programs. Its intensive curriculum focuses on leadership, innovation, advocacy, financial analysis, and strategic thinking, preparing credit union professionals to meet the challenges of a dynamic financial services landscape.
In addition to her graduation, Jenkins was honored with the SCMS Distinguished Professional of the Year Award. This award is presented to a graduating professional over the age of 40 who demonstrates exceptional leadership, active participation in the credit union movement, and impactful application of SCMS principles. Jenkins was selected for her outstanding record of mentorship, class engagement, and strategic contributions to the credit union industry.
