LenderClose hires tenured data, product and project management experts to advance LendTech platform
DES MOINES, IA (March 31, 2020) — LenderClose today announced the company has added Data Analyst Kamal Sager, Product Manager Tabitha Rice and Project Manager Christina Woods to its growing team.
LenderClose Data Analyst Kamal Sager
Sager joins LenderClose from Microsoft where he most recently provided data center IT technical support, performing system and network installation, configuration and troubleshooting to ensure optimum operations.
Sager’s extensive background consists of positions as an assistant professor and a consulting advisor to the United States government. No stranger to the startup environment, Sager founded and served as executive director and CEO of Orbit Axis Company for Pro-AV & IT Solutions based in Iraq. He is also an accomplished writer, having co-authored a book on fractal geometry analysis and written numerous articles published in scholarly journals.
Sager’s ability to innovate is evident in several of his notable achievements, including the design and implementation of algorithms and computer programs for breast cancer diagnosis. He is also responsible for engineering and installing the first fully interactive anatomy education and virtual dissection lab in Iraq. Sager holds four degrees, including a doctorate from the College of Science, Baghdad University and a post-doctorate from the Tokyo Institute of Technology.
For LenderClose, Sager will apply his more than 15 years of scientific research and data analytics expertise to enhance reporting and modelling for the company, its clients and strategic partners. The company’s various business unit leaders will rely on for robust business intelligence reporting, as well as distribution strategy development and data model creation.
LenderClose Product Manager Tabitha Rice
Rice, joining LenderClose as product manager, most recently held a product manager position at Equifax, where she was promoted from entry-level processor to operations manager in less than a year.
For LenderClose, Rice will use her expertise in managing teams spanning multiple states, improving product development processes and building client and vendor relationships to deliver solutions with quick time-to-market.
By developing a deep understanding of the LenderClose client experience, Rice will identify and fill product gaps, as well as provide insights on growing market share, driving growth and improving the lender and borrower experience. She will collaborate with key stakeholders to implement a product development roadmap designed to inject speed and efficiency into the community lending effort, ultimately improving the borrower experience.
LenderClose Project Manager Christina Woods
Woods brings nearly a decade of experience to LenderClose, including quality assurance and regulatory audits for a multi-national company. She is also trained in real estate customer service and advanced technical support, which she provided for the Dallas County, Iowa, Assessor’s Office. In her most recent role, she served as the managed services project coordinator for Associated Computer Systems where she managed relationships with clients, assessing needs and facilitating timely solutions.
For LenderClose, Woods will collaborate with stakeholders to continually set the bar higher in product and process quality to enhance the client experience. Woods will prioritize projects that give community financial institutions the means to successfully compete with national lending brands.
