LenderClose welcomes new product team members
DES MOINES, IA (February 17, 2021) —
LenderClose today announced Product Manager Kent McDonald and Delivery Lead Ryan McDonnell have joined the fast-growing fintech.

For LenderClose, McDonald will ensure products check viability and value boxes. He’ll do this by developing a deep knowledge of how LenderClose clients and users interact with the fintech’s iterative products. His expertise at producing desired outcomes within business constraints will keep projects on track. As an influential member of the team, McDonald’s sound judgement in assessing risk will allow co-leaders to make timely, data-informed decisions.
McDonald brings more than 20 years’ experience in business analysis and product management to LenderClose. In addition to consulting with numerous businesses over the years, McDonald founded KBP Media, a business analysis and product management resource center for product owners, business analysts and product managers.
McDonald’s extensive background involves working with leading agribusiness company Corteva to rebuild a core system, which led to a significant reduction in manual processes and cost of errors. Prior to his work with Corteva, McDonald consulted with AgileAlliance, a conference management system. His oversight contributed to a 500-percent increase in website traffic.
During his time as an agile methodology coach and trainer, McDonald chaired the Agile2013 conference for more than one thousand attendees, raising more than $1 million for non-profit operations. While coaching and training, he also worked on a planned enterprise software release with a team of more than one hundred product developers.

He holds an MBA in entrepreneurship and information technology from Kent University and a bachelor’s degree in industrial manufacturing and systems engineering from Iowa State University.
LenderClose Delivery Lead Ryan McDonnell
For LenderClose, McDonnell will use his expertise in stakeholder communication, project and product management to collaborate and co-create products with designers, developers and clients. As delivery lead, he will help manage and coordinate software initiatives while simultaneously enhancing the LenderClose client and product development team experience.
McDonnell is a business analyst who most recently served as an agile team member within a large-scale remediation effort at a Fortune 100 company through consulting firm Keyot. At Keyot, he honed skills in prioritization, data integrity testing and implementation of system enhancements.
Prior to his work for Keyot, McDonnell was an IT delivery intern at Land O’ Lakes, Inc., where he worked on an Oracle Fusion ERP upgrade, a JD Edwards ERP testing for upgrades and managed an offshore team for test script automation.
McDonnell has a bachelor’s degree in supply chain management and management information systems from Iowa State University. While obtaining his education, he provided interactive tutoring sessions to statistics students and was a scholarly research assistant to faculty.
