Liberty Bay Credit Union hires Fredrick C. Williams, Jr. as controller and chief accounting officer
BRAINTREE, MA (May 7, 2015) – Liberty Bay Credit Union, one of the oldest and most established credit unions in New England, has hired Fredrick C. Williams, Jr. as First Vice President, Controller, and Chief Accounting Officer. In his new role, Mr. Williams will provide his experienced leadership and direction to the credit union’s accounting and information technology operational units. He will also be responsible for leveraging his risk management, internal control, and project management experience for a number of key strategic objectives across the institution.

Prior to joining Liberty Bay Credit Union, Mr. Williams spent nearly four years as the Controller at Peoples Federal Savings Bank. His previous finance experience includes Vice President of Financial Reporting at Danversbank, Treasurer at BankMalden, financial institution Auditor at Wolf & Company, P.C., and Accounts Manager at Alpha Credit Union.
Mr. Williams received a Bachelor of Science degree in Management Science with a concentration in Accounting and Finance at Bridgewater State College. He serves on the Board of Directors of Friends For Children, a charitable organization, dedicated to providing financial assistance to various Boston-based nonprofit children’s service organizations. Mr. Williams resides in Quincy, Massachusetts.
