Liberty Bay Credit Union names Michael McCarthy as next board chairman
BRAINTREE, MA (July 23, 2015) — Liberty Bay Credit Union, one of the oldest and most established credit unions in New England, named Michael F. McCarthy as its next Chairman of the Board at its 98thAnnual Meeting held at Florian Hall in Dorchester.
McCarthy, who lives in Reading, Massachusetts, has served on the Liberty Bay Credit Union board for 23 years, most recently as Vice Chairman and Audit Committee Chairman.
Outgoing Chairman P.J. Foley commented, “It has been an honor and privilege to serve as Chairman of the Liberty Bay family for the last three years and I am confident that Mike will only continue to build on our successes.”
