Linda Rossetti elected president of Women in Payments Group W.net

Bluestone Payments Executive Linda Rossetti to Lead Organization as President

MCLEAN, VA (January 13, 2015) — Women’s Network in Electronic Transactions (W.net), the premier organization dedicated to women in payments and serving more than 1,000 women nationwide, announced today that Linda Rossetti, founder and president of Bluestone Payments LLC, has been elected its 2015 national president. Rossetti assumed her one-year term as president on January 1st. She will lead a 15-member board of directors focused on driving initiatives that promote the growth and success of women in payments.

“I am honored by the opportunity to lead this prestigious organization dedicated to women in payments,” said incoming W.net president, Linda Rossetti. “I will work tirelessly to connect and empower women in the payments industry. I look forward to celebrating W.net’s ten years of accomplishments this year.”

Rossetti has been an active W.net member since 2007 and has served on the W.net Board of Directors since 2009. She has been instrumental in growing Local Interest Network Circles (LINCs) in major metropolitan areas around the country including Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Denver, Texas, New York, Northern California, Phoenix and Washington, DC. In 2014, the LINCs held 22 events. LINCs are currently forming in both Southern California and Omaha, plus W.net held its first international LINC event in London on October 23, 2014.

Rossetti is a well-known payments expert, consulting with payments companies and the investment community on numerous strategic opportunities. She is a business owner of one the few women-owned ISO’s in the industry. Prior to establishing Bluestone Payments, Rossetti served as the president of third party relationships and the senior vice president of strategic initiatives for Global Payments, Inc. She has been an active participant on many industry advisory boards over the years including MWAA, and First Data. Rossetti currently serves on the ISO & Agent and ControlScan advisory boards.
