Local credit union volunteers serve picnic

LIMERICK, PA (July 23, 2015) — Volunteers who are employees of American Heritage Federal Credit Union, which operates branches in Limerick, King of Prussia and Quakertown, recently helped prepare and cook meals for families living at the Ronald McDonald Chestnut House in Philadelphia.

They prepared a summer barbecue meal July 8 that included hamburgers, hot dogs, and chicken for more than 90 people. Ronald McDonald House provides a “home-away-from-home” at little to no cost for families with a hospitalized child.

The credit union is a $1.5 billion financial cooperative serving more than 800 companies and more than 137,000 members in Montgomery and three counties. Its Limerick office is located in the Limerick Square Shopping Center, 70 Buckwalter Rd.
