Local man receives $5,000 payday giveaway from MSUFCU
More than 87,600 members take part in Credit Union’s Direct Deposit campaign
EAST LANSING, MI (May 28, 2019) — When Larry learned he was receiving a $5,000 payday, a good day turned into a great one. After participating in MSU Federal Credit Union’s (MSUFCU) Direct Deposit promotion, he and other eligible members were entered to win various prizes. The campaign encouraged members to switch their direct deposits to MSUFCU checking accounts before April 30, 2019, and by doing so they were then entered to win weekly prizes and a grand prize of $5,000.

of MSUFCU’s $5,000 Payday Giveaway.
“We work to educate members on ways to save time and money and make managing their finances easier; direct
deposit achieves all of these objectives,” said Deidre Davis, MSUFCU’s Chief Marketing Officer. “It saves time as
members don’t have to deposit their checks; it is more eco-friendly and saves money; and it provides flexibility and
convenience as employees can direct funds to multiple accounts as soon as the direct deposit is made. This
promotion was a great way to share that message.”
Eight weekly winners were randomly selected to each receive $500 among Credit Union members who participated
in the promotion, and one winner was selected to win $5,000. Larry was selected as the grand prize winner among
the 87,674 entrants.
