Louisiana Credit Union League selects Juan Fernandez Ceballos as next President/CEO
HARAHAN, LA (May 15, 2023) — Louisiana Credit Union League (LCUL) is pleased to announce the selection of Juan Fernandez Ceballos as the trade association’s new President and Chief Executive Officer.
“The Board is excited to welcome Juan as our next CEO,” said Steve Webb, Chairman of the Board. “His experience will be an invaluable asset to the League and to the credit unions of Louisiana. We believe with Juan at the helm, the organization will continue to experience great success.”
Juan comes from the Credit Union Association of New Mexico, where he served as President and CEO. Juan has worked in the credit union movement for over two decades and has a strong background in Government Affairs. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from Binghamton University and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Western Governors University.
When asked about his new position, Juan stated, “I am humbled and grateful to have been selected as the next President/CEO of the Louisiana Credit Union League. This is a fantastic institution, and I am excited to work with the Board of Directors and all staff to continue the growth and success and help credit unions continue fulfilling their missions.”
Juan will officially take over on June 20, 2023.
