Louisiana Federal Credit Union names Aimee Garcia-Flowers Vice President of Human Resources and Development

KENNER, LA (November 8, 2022) — Louisiana Federal Credit Union (Louisiana FCU) has named Aimee Garcia-Flowers as its new Vice President of Human Resources and Development. In her new position, Flowers is responsible for overseeing the strategic vision for the human resources department which focuses on recruitment, retention, benefits, performance management, and culture development.

Aimee was previously employed with Macy’s in Secaucus, NJ as the Vice President of Human Resources, Employee and Labor Relations; the Human Resources Director of Logistics; and the Director of Human Resources in Merchant Talent in New York City, NY. Aimee has worked for Macy’s in Human Resources since 2008 and she brings the experience and skills of organizational design, succession planning, performance management strategies, employment law knowledge, and manager coaching with her to Louisiana FCU.

Aimee has a Bachelor of Science in Social Work from Rutgers University and has obtained certifications in Human Resources from the Human Resources Certification Institute and the Society for Human Resources Management.
