Louisiana Marketing & Business Development Council now accepting membership applications
HARAHAN, LA (August 15, 2014) — The Louisiana Credit Union League is excited to open up membership into the Louisiana Marketing and Business Development Council (LAMBDC). The newest council was introduced last week during LCUL’s Annual Meeting & Convention and is open to all affiliated credit unions.
The goal of the council is to provide a space where professionals can grow by learning from one another in a collaborative environment, providing relevant resources and opportunities to spark creativity. By pulling together individual experiences and knowledge, council members can evoke change and propel the movement in Louisiana together.
As a member of the council, you will have access to professional networking opportunities throughout the year, including
- Professional development opportunities to enhance your value to your credit union
- Reduced registration fees for LAMBDC events
- Free participation in periodic informational phone calls with Louisiana credit union marketing peers
- Networking opportunities with other Louisiana credit union professionals
- Regular e-newsletter updates from LAMBDC
The overall direction for the LAMBDC is provided by the inaugural advisory committee. Members of the advisory committee include the following:

- Heather Escott, Lafayette Schools FCU
- Kelli Green, Centric FCU
- Jill Skaggs, Bossier FCU
- Ashley Varnam, Louisiana FCU
