Luminate promotes Angela Melle to Vice President of Credit Union Engagement

Baton Rouge, LA (August 22, 2025) |

Luminate is proud to announce the promotion of Angela Melle to Vice President of Credit Union Engagement.

Melle brings 17 years of experience in the credit union movement to her new role. She began her career as a teller, later working as a loan processor, and gaining valuable frontline experience in the call center before joining Luminate. Over the past 10 years at Luminate, she has made a lasting impact—most recently serving as Sr. Director of Communications & Education, where she was heavily involved in the recent organization rebrand.

In her new position, Melle will expand her leadership to oversee Luminate’s Credit Union Success Team, in addition to continuing to guide Communications and Education. This combined role allows her to unite member-facing services under one vision, strengthening Luminate’s ability to support and empower credit unions across the state.

“I am truly honored to step into the role of Vice President of Credit Union Engagement,” said Melle. “This opportunity allows me to build on the incredible work of our Communications and Education teams while now also leading our Credit Union Success Team—the dedicated boots on the ground team members who directly support our credit unions every day. I am excited to bring these areas together to strengthen connections, drive collaboration, and further Luminate’s mission of helping our credit unions succeed.”

Nanci Wilson, Executive Vice President of Luminate, praised Melle’s promotion, stating: “I’m so excited to see Angela Melle rise to the role of Vice President of Credit Union Engagement! Her amazing skillset, attention to detail, and deep passion for the credit union movement will only enhance her ability to continue being a truly valuable rockstar at Luminate.”
