Luminate promotes Anthony Ware II to Senior Director of Legislative Advocacy

Baton Rouge, LA (August 25, 2025) |

Luminate is proud to announce the promotion of Anthony Ware II to Senior Director of Legislative Advocacy, a role in which he will lead the organization’s state and federal advocacy efforts.

With over thirteen years in the credit union movement, Anthony began his career as a part-time teller while still in high school at Red River Federal Credit Union in Texarkana, TX. Following his service in the military, he joined Campus Federal Credit Union, where he advanced through a range of roles including Teller, Financial Services Representative, Card Services Specialist, Branch Operations Manager, and Business & Community Development Officer.

This strong operational foundation has shaped his member-first approach to policy and public affairs, allowing him to serve as a vital connector between credit union leaders, members, and policymakers.

“What excites me most about this role is being able to comprehensively lead the state and federal advocacy efforts that protect, advance, and amplify the voice of credit unions across Louisiana and in Washington, D.C.,” said Anthony Ware II.

Luminate’s Executive Vice President, Nanci Wilson, shared her enthusiasm for his promotion: “I’m so excited for Anthony Ware II as he transitions to Senior Director of Legislative Advocacy! His exceptional ability to network, connect, and stay ahead of legislative developments ensures our members continue receiving the most important and timely information.”
