Maine Savings honors Roland Narofsky with Cecil C. Porter Extraordinary Service Award
HAMPDEN, ME (June 8, 2015) — Maine Savings Regional Vice President of Bangor and Brewer, Roland Narofsky, was recognized with the credit union’s Cecil C. Porter Extraordinary Service Award at its annual meeting last month.
Narofsky was chosen to receive this year’s award for his commitment to member service in the Bangor Region. His participation in a wide variety of community activities, including the Festival of Lights Parade, Rotary, Chamber Functions and the Bangor Region Leadership Institute, has led him to be highly respected within the community. Last year he was also named the Greater Bangor Association of Realtors’ Affiliate of the Year.
“Maine Savings members and business professionals throughout the community frequently comment on Roland’s passion and his commitment to extraordinary service,” said John Reed, President and CEO of Maine Savings. “We are honored to award him for his outstanding work and the community relationships he’s cultivated.”
Named for Maine Savings longtime director, Cecil C. Porter, the award is provided annually for superior service, passion and performance excellence throughout the previous year, while providing the highest quality of service to Maine Savings members and employees. The nominee whose performance best reflects the legacy of Cecil, as well as the mission, values, promise and service standards of Maine Savings is selected annually to receive the award.
