Maine Savings welcomes Jim Silsby and Felicia Russell, promotes Vicki Strout

HAMPDEN, ME (March 31, 2015) — Maine Savings recently welcomed Jim Silsby as a Compliance Specialist at its Hampden location and Felicia Russell as a part time, seasonal Teller at the credit union’s Bangor locations. Vicki Strout was also promoted to Teller and Member Service Representative at the Corinth branch.

Silsby will be working in the risk management area of the credit union. He brings extensive knowledge and interpretation of federal and state laws and holds a law degree from Franklin Pierce Law Center (now UNH). He also has a wide variety of experience in mortgages and titles, contract reviews, and legal document interpretation. Silsby most recently worked at Security Title in Hampden.

“Jim’s background is a great fit for our growing risk management department,” said John Reed, president and CEO. “His experience and knowledge will add to an already impressive team.”

Russell, a graduate of Hermon High School, is currently pursuing a degree in Psychology and Criminal Justice at Husson University. She started working at Maine Savings last month.

Strout began her career at Maine Savings in 2000 as a Teller. In this new role she will also be responsible for opening new accounts and consumer lending.
