Maine State Credit Union expands brick & mortar into Cumberland County
AUGUSTA, ME (October 31, 2022) — Maine State Credit Union opens the doors on its new Gray branch at 25 Portland Road, Gray, Maine. Located in the Gray Plaza, it supports current and future members with full-service banking needs. This is Maine State CU’s fourth branch and first full-service location in Cumberland County.
To celebrate, a ribbon-cutting ceremony will be held on Wednesday, November 30, 2022, at 8:30 am, followed by a reception within the branch. The Sebago Lakes Regional Chamber of Commerce, Maine State CU senior leadership, and local business owners are attending.
“Adding a full-service branch in the Cumberland County area has been on the MSCU to-do list,” says Stephen Wallace, President and Chief Executive Officer. “It’s more than providing new brick and mortar, it’s showing local members we support their communities and listen to their needs.”
Nichole Lee, Vice President and Branch Manager, Abigail Daggett, Assistant Branch Manager, as well as Member Experience Specialists, Natalie Sicina, Ivy Morris, and Olyvia Heald, and Christopher Kovacs, Vice President of Commercial Lending, are ready to provide both personal and business lending services. Lobby and drive-thru hours will be Monday to Friday 8:00 am to 5:30 pm.
“We’ve met so many great Gray-area residents so far,” says Nichole Lee, Vice President and Branch Manager. “I’m so excited to make new community connections and provide local-banking services to existing and new members in this area.”
Maine State Credit Union’s other locations are in Augusta, and Waterville, with a business lending office in Portland. A Rockland branch is opening in early 2023 to provide in-person services for Knox, Waldo, and Lincoln Counties.
