Marta Elliott named United Federal Credit Union Public Relations Coordinator

ST JOSEPH, MI (September 19, 2014) — Marta Elliott has been appointed to the position of Public Relations Coordinator at United Federal Credit Union (UFCU) in St. Joseph, Michigan. In her new role, Elliott will be responsible for creating awareness of UFCU’s marketing efforts, positions on legal and regulatory issues, support of community and charitable events and other newsworthy activities.

Elliott’s previous corporate communications experience includes positions with HighPoint Global LLC, American Electric Power/D.C. Cook Nuclear Power Plant, and as owner/principal executive of her own marketing and communications practice. Other experience includes 12 years as a television news anchor/reporter in the South Bend, Indiana, market.

A native of Tipton, Indiana, Elliott holds a Bachelor’s degree in Communications and Broadcast Journalism from Indiana University in Bloomington and has served on the boards of directors of numerous community and charitable organizations in Southwest Michigan and Northwest Indiana.  Marta and her husband Mac are the parents of three children. They reside in Buchanan, Michigan.
