MasterCard wins a 2015 Innovation Award for Identity Theft Resolution Benefit Solution

PURCHASE, NY (June 26, 2015)MasterCard recently won a 2015 National Association of Federal Credit Unions (NAFCU) Services Innovation Award. The Innovation Awards is the credit union industry’s most prominent awards competition for cutting-edge solutions. The yearly competition commends exceptional innovations that support credit unions to succeed and distinguish themselves in a progressively crowded financial services environment.

MasterCard was recognized for its Identity Theft Resolution Benefit solution, which provides Identity Theft Resolution Services to cardholders with access to resources that will help restore their identities. Identity Theft Alerts is a free service only offered by MasterCard to detect if your personal information (such as your credit or debit card, social security number or driver’s license) is being bought or sold online. Additionally, an Identity Theft Specialist can be assigned to work with cardholders to help check for any potential identity theft and offer expert guidance to help keep online information safe.

Providing peace of mind, MasterCard also offers free identity remediation services to any cardholder who has experienced identity theft. MasterCard is the only payment network that offers this service to all U.S. cardholders.
