Matt Huff has been appointed as associate board member at Member One Federal Credit Union

ROANOKE, VA (July 1, 2015) — Matt Huff has been appointed as an associate board member at Member One Federal Credit Union in Roanoke, VA. His board appointment began April 2015.

A Member One FCU associate board member position is designed to provide a meaningful learning environment for potential board members that will allow them to perform successfully and contribute significantly in the future should they be appointed to the Board.

Matt said he is attracted to Member One’s philosophy of members serving members and is very happy to have the opportunity to help a local organization grow and provide outstanding resources to the community.

Matt is originally from Franklin County, VA and graduated Summa Cum Laude from Virginia Tech with a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Finance. After he graduated, he decided to return to the Roanoke Valley and joined the investment department at Shenandoah Life Insurance Company.  Two years later Matt joined Poe & Cronk Real Estate Group in Roanoke where he has been since 2008.  Now, as an owner of the firm, he looks forward to continuing his career in Roanoke for many years to come.

Matt also serves as the Vice President of the Franklin County Family YMCA board of directors and is a member of the Franklin County Rotary Club.  He is a graduate of Leadership Roanoke Valley and previously served on the board of Blue Ridge Literacy.

The staff and board of directors at Member One FCU is honored Matt has joined the Board as an associate member and the skills and knowledge he will bring to the credit union.
