Mayte Castro named United Federal Credit Union Reno Northwest Branch Manager

ST. JOSEPH, MI (July 29, 2014) — Mayte Castro has been appointed to the position of Branch Manager at the United Federal Credit Union (UFCU) Northwest Branch in Reno, Nev.  In her new role, Castro will be responsible for providing operational leadership to branch staff, including staff development, retention, and growth of branch sales performance.

Castro was previously Assistant Branch Manager at the UFCU Double R Branch in Reno, where she provided leadership, supervision and coaching to branch staff. Castro’s prior financial industry experience includes Member Service Advisor, Operations, Loan Coordinator and teller positions at UFCU and Clearstar Financial Credit Union, respectively, as well as student employment at the Clearstar (now UFCU) Reed High School branch.

A native of Reno, Castro holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and Management from the University of Nevada-Reno.  She resides in Sparks, Nev.
