As part of America Saves Week 2019, running from February 25 to March 2, MECU is spreading the saving message and urging its members to make savings automatic.
America Saves Week is a national effort to motivate, encourage, and support low-to-moderate income households to save money, reduce debt, and build wealth. MECU is using this opportunity to encourage and assist members in improving their financial futures through its Save Your Way campaign, offering increased savings, easier money management, and a chance to win $1,000 with the Save Your Way Sweepstakes.

For an extra savings boost, members who deposit $25 or more into a qualifying account will be automatically entered into the company’s 2019 Save Your Way Sweepstakes. One winner will be randomly selected to win $100 each month during the promotion, and one grand prize winner will be randomly selected to win $1,000 after the conclusion of the promotion on March 31.
America Saves Week is an annual opportunity for people to assess their savings status and make a plan to start or increase savings.
