Members 1st Federal Credit Union helps Pennsylvania students start the school year strong

Enola, PA (August 25, 2025) |

Members 1st Federal Credit Union is proud to announce the results of its recent school supply drive. In just two weeks, members and community partners filled  120 boxes with donations, tipping the scales at more than 2,000 pounds of essential items. That’s the weight of a small car, all in school supplies, collected to help local students start the year with the tools they need to succeed.

Donated items included backpacks, notebooks, pens, pencils, crayons, calculators and  personal care items. All contributions will be distributed to local students in need, ensuring they have the tools and confidence to succeed in the classroom.

“This initiative is a true reflection of the generosity of our members and community,”  said Sara Firestone, Vice President of Community and Public Relations at Members 1st  Federal Credit Union. “When we come together to support education, we are not just  providing supplies, we are helping students feel prepared, valued and ready to learn.  We are grateful to everyone who contributed to making this drive a success.”
