Members 1st Federal Credit Union is proud to announce a $7,500 donation to Keystone Human Services (KHS), supporting its Head Start program. The
contribution is part of the credit union’s year-long 75th anniversary celebration, during which members are invited to vote for nonprofit organizations to receive $7,500 donations throughout the year.
Keystone Human Services’ Head Start program provides comprehensive early childhood education, health, nutrition and family support services to low-income children and their families.
“Our 75th anniversary is about celebrating the communities and members we have grown alongside,” said Karen Roland, Chief Marketing Officer at Members 1st. “By empowering our members to choose where these donations go, we are able to support the causes they care about most. Investing in Keystone Human Services’ Head Start program means investing in children, families and the future of our communities.”
The funds will help enhance programming, expand access to critical services and support educational resources for children in need.
“This generous support from Members 1st helps us continue delivering high-quality early childhood education and essential family services through our Head Start program,” said Kris Weaver, Vice President of Development. “We’re honored to be chosen by Members 1st members and deeply grateful for this partnership.”
This donation is one of several anniversary-driven initiatives Members 1st is leading in 2025, aimed at giving back to the people and organizations that help Central Pennsylvanians thrive.
