Members Cooperative Credit Union, in partnership with Federal Home Loan Bank of Des Moines (FHLB Des Moines), is pleased to announce that One Roof Community Housing is the recipient of a $10,000 grant from the Member Impact Fund.
“We’re thrilled that our partnership with FHLB Des Moines has allowed us to increase our impact with this award supporting One Roof Community Housing,” said Neil Sample, Vice President of Business Services at Members. “One Roof’s work aligns strongly with our mission to make our communities stronger, our employees happier, and our world better.”
Members has been a proud partner of One Roof Community Housing for more than a decade. Together, they have been dedicated to improving the community through affordable housing and community development initiatives.
“One Roof is grateful for the support of Members Cooperative Credit Union,” said Jeff Corey, Executive Director of One Roof Community Housing. “We’ll be using the grant funds to help fund upcoming housing development projects to create more affordable homes for low- and moderate- income people in Duluth.”
FHLB Des Moines provides funding solutions to more than 1,200 members to support mortgage lending, economic development and affordable housing in the communities they serve. The Member Impact Fund provides FHLB Des Moines members with up to $3 for every $1 in matching grant donations to strengthen the ability of not-for-profits or government entities to support the needs of their communities.
