Members Cooperative Credit Union (Members) is proud to announce that its charitable arm, the Members Cooperative Credit Union Community Youth Foundation, has received a $15,000 donation from its partner Elan as part of Elan’s annual Credit Union Day Charitable Giving initiative.
Members representatives Melissa Swenson, Senior Business Development & Outreach Specialist, and Jennifer Raushel, Branch Manager, proudly accepted Elan’s Charitable Giving Award on behalf of the Members Cooperative Credit Union Community Youth Foundation.
The presentation took place at the recent Foster Hope 5K & Fun Run in Grand Rapids, Minnesota, an inspiring community event dedicated to raising college scholarship funds for foster youth. This initiative reflects Members’ ongoing commitment to supporting young people and strengthening the communities it serves.
Through the Community Youth Foundation, funds from Elan’s Charitable Giving Award will help expand and sustain youth programs that provide educational opportunities, mentorship, and resources for local students and foster youth.
“Elan’s mission has always been rooted in partnership, and our charitable giving initiative allows us to extend that partnership beyond business,” said Peter Klukken, Head of Elan Credit Card. “We’re proud to stand alongside our partners in supporting causes that truly make a difference in people’s lives.”
Members extends its heartfelt gratitude to Elan for this generous contribution and shared dedication to empowering the next generation.
