Meriwest honored with Impact Award by the Rainbow Chamber Silicon Valley

Meriwest Credit Union, which has been serving Silicon Valley for over 69 years, is excited to announce its selection as recipient of the 2020 Rainbow Impact Award for Business of the Year by the Rainbow Chamber, Silicon Valley. The Impact Award is given to individuals and organizations that have made significant contributions throughout their community. Meriwest has been a member of the Rainbow Chamber for the last two years supporting their mission and fundraising efforts.

Meriwest and other winners also received Certificates of Appreciation from the State Treasurer Fiona Ma; County of Santa Clara Board of Supervisor Dave Cortese; State Legislator Ash Kalra and City of San Jose Councilmember, Pam Foley.

Meriwest COO, Lisa Pesta said, “This award is a testament to the commitment and dedication of our employees who work tirelessly to serve residents within our communities. We are honored to receive this award and certificates of appreciation. We will use this as our testament of our continued work to equalize the playing field for all community residents within Silicon Valley.”

In addition to Meriwest, other honorees were Roark Clayton, Lifetime Achievement Award; Rev. Bryan Franzen, Volunteer/Advocate; The Bill Wilson Center, Non-Profit of the year; and Santa Clara County Procurement, Corporate Member of the Year. The awards were presented at the 3 rd Annual Rainbow Chamber Impact Awards Ceremony at Villa Ragusa on January 24, 2020.
