Metrum Community Credit Union CEO Celebrates 25th Anniversary

CENTENNIAL, CO (May 20, 2014) — Metrum Community Credit Union recently held its 67th annual meeting with a special celebration. In addition to the long history of member-focused community service, Metrum also recognized President, Steve Kelly’s 25th anniversary with the credit union.

In a resolution from the board of directors, Kelly was recognized for his dedication and service. Board Chairman Rick Flanigan read from the resolution, “…members have been enhanced by the knowledgeable, dynamic and effective leadership;…President Kelly’s unwavering adherence to basic credit union philosophy and his identity with the principles on which credit unions are grounded contributed stability in growth to the credit union;…it is our desire to recognize, not only the contribution in time and talent of President Kelly, but also his devotion to credit union ideals.”

More than 100 members of the credit union attended the meeting and open house celebration held May 3, 2014 at Metrum’s Centennial branch located at 6980 South Holly Circle. The event featured free document shredding, electronic recycling and refreshments, as well as the annual business meeting and prize giveaways.

“I have been blessed with great staff members, many of whom have been here a majority of my career at Metrum Community Credit Union,” Kelly said. “Also, we wouldn’t be able to have the success we have without our members who have allowed us to help with their financial needs.”
