Michigan Schools and Government Credit Union named Top Workplace by Detroit Free Press

CLINTON TOWNSHIP, MI (November 24, 2014) — Michigan Schools and Government Credit Union (MSGCU) has been named one of the 2014 Top 100 Workplaces by the Detroit Free Press. This is the second consecutive year that MSGCU has received this distinction.

“We are honored to once again be recognized as a Top Workplace,” said Peter Gates, MSGCU President and CEO. “We love to come to work.  Everyone at MSGCU is engaged in what they’re doing.  We are happy when we can help a member with their financial needs and that positive energy shows in our employees, day in and day out. It’s a privilege to work with the MSGCU team.”

The Detroit Free Press recognized more than 100 companies and organizations as Top Workplaces in Michigan for 2014. Results are based solely on feedback from employee surveys conducted by WorkplaceDynamics (the survey was administered in July). Companies are measured on several qualities, including company leadership, career opportunities, workplace flexibility, compensation and benefits.

The Detroit Free Press published the complete list of Top Workplaces on Sunday, Nov. 16. For more information about the Top Workplaces lists and WorkplaceDynamics, please visit www.topworkplaces.com and www.workplacedynamics.com.
