Michigan State University Federal Credit Union (MSUFCU) Youth Financial Seminars
MSUFCU will be hosting two free seminars on November 20, 2012.
EAST LANSING, MI—Children ages 5–12 are invited to join MSUFCU staff for a Youth Financial Seminar. During this seminar, attendees will learn about finances by examining the difference between their needs and wants via hands-on games and fun activities. Every youth member in attendance will be awarded with Dollar Dog coins and other prizes for their participation. Parents/guardians are encouraged to attend with their children. Plan to attend this seminar Tuesday, November 20, 2012, from 5:45 p.m. to 6:45 p.m. at MSU Federal Credit Union’s Headquarters located at 3777 West Road in East Lansing.
Teens ages 13–17 are invited to attend a Youth Financial Seminar designed to help attendees learn how to create budgets for the future. Whether attendees are saving for new computers, cars, or college, they will leave the seminar with the tools necessary to set and achieve financial goals. Prizes, including MSUFCU and MSU gear and gift cards, will be given out during the seminar. Parents/ guardians are encouraged to attend with their teens. Plan to attend this seminar Tuesday, November 20, 2012, from 7:15 p.m. to 8:15 p.m. at MSU Federal Credit Union’s Headquarters located at 3777 West Road in East Lansing.
There is no charge to attend these seminars, and they are open to the public. Light refreshments will be provided for seminar attendees. Seating is limited and an RSVP is requested.
