Michigan State University Federal Credit Union partners with Sparrow Children’s Center for Annual Toy Drive

Monday, October 20, through Friday, October 31

EAST LANSING, MI (October 22, 2014) — MSU Federal Credit Union is proud to partner with the Sparrow Children’s Center to support children in the local community through a toy drive in its greater Lansing area branches now through Friday, October 31, 2014. The donated items will go directly to the Children’s Center Playroom at Sparrow Hospital, a resource for young patients and their families to experience a home away from home when coming to Sparrow to receive care. Nurses and child life specialists use the Children’s Center Playroom to help children recover from sickness or injury through play, education, and emotional support.

A detailed list of the items requested will be available at each of our greater Lansing area branches where community members can drop off toys.

Patrick McPharlin, MSUFCU President and Chief Executive Officer, commented, “We are honored to partner with the Sparrow Children’s Center once again this year with the hope of making a difference in the lives of children receiving care at Sparrow.”

By giving to the Sparrow Foundation, the community can make an impact on the health and lives of many. Support of the Sparrow Foundation ensures that you and those you love have access to the very best facilities, technology, resources, and highly-skilled professionals right here in mid-Michigan.
