Mid Minnesota Federal Credit Union announces retirement of Chief Executive Officer, Chuck Albrecht

Mid Minnesota Federal Credit Union’s President and Chief Executive Officer, Chuck Albrecht, has announced his plan to retire in March of 2023. Mid Minnesota Federal Credit Union has hired D. Hilton Associates to begin a nationwide search to find his replacement.

“We would like to thank Chuck for his time, drive, and dedication to the credit union over the years”, said Board Chairperson Theresa Goble, “Chuck has been an asset to this credit union, building a solid foundation for the organization to continue to grow and serve our membership. While we will be sad to see him go, we wish him a happy retirement.”

Chuck joined Mid Minnesota FCU in 2003 as CEO. During Chuck’s tenure the credit union grew to serve 11 counties with 11 full-service branches, with the 12th location currently being built in Fergus Falls. Assets went from $110 million to $650 million, and membership grew from 28,000 to 55,000 currently. In 2021, Chuck was presented the Outstanding Credit Union Professional of the Year award by the Minnesota Credit Union Network. Chuck is excited to move into his next adventure of retirement.
