Mid-Minnesota Federal Credit Union selects mobile capture from Bluepoint Solutions
HENDERSON, NV (March 25, 2014) – Bluepoint Solutions today announced Baxter, MN-based Mid-Minnesota Federal Credit Union (FCU) has chosen to implement its QwikDeposit ToGo mobile remote deposit capture (RDC) solution.
Mid-Minnesota FCU, with $252 million in assets and over 37,000 members, began an evaluation of its existing technology and operational practices in 2012 in an effort to create efficiency, cut costs, and better serve members. It was during this time that the credit union began a process to establishing a virtual branch, allowing members to conduct the same in-branch transactions from any location at any time.
“We’re seeing a shift into a new generation of banking, where consumers want not only access to their accounts and the ability to transfer funds, but they want to be able to conduct the same transactions remotely that they previously could only conduct at a branch,” said Chris Tangen, VP of Technology of Mid-Minnesota Federal Credit Union. “Mobile RDC will allow us to expand our self-service offerings and attract the next wave of new members- generations Y and Z.”
