MidWest America Federal Credit Union Appoints David Shadburne as Next President and Chief Executive Officer

FORT WAYNE, IN (February 17, 2023) — MidWest America Federal Credit Union’s Board of Directors has announced the selection of their next President/Chief Executive Officer, David Shadburne. David will be taking the reins over from Greg Mohr, who has led MidWest America as the CEO for over 14 years.

“The Board of MWAFCU is very excited to have a strategic, people-focused, and compassionate leader like David join the organization. His passion for the industry will help drive MidWest America forward into the future, and we are looking forward to having him lead the team. Greg will be missed by the Board and the staff, but the credit union will remain in good hands with David at the helm.” said Board chair Dennis Headlee.

David Shadburne most recently served as the Executive Vice President and Chief Strategy Officer at Park Community Credit Union, which he joined in 2015. David is very involved in his community, having served on various boards and participated in various community activities. He is a Licensed Attorney and Certified Public Accountant.

When asked for a comment on his new position, David said, “I am incredibly excited and humbled to have been chosen as the next CEO for MidWest America. I believe that together we will grow and bring MidWest America to the next level. I am looking forward to working with the team and the Board.”
