Webster First Federal Credit Union has announced the promotion of Michael Langlois to Vice President of Compliance & Internal Audit, recognizing his dedication and leadership over more than a decade of service to the organization.
Langlois joined Webster First in 2014 as an Internal Auditor. His career trajectory reflects consistent advancement and professional development, having been promoted to Internal Auditing Supervisor in 2017, Assistant Vice President of Internal Auditing in 2022, and Vice President of Internal Audit in 2024. Throughout his tenure, he has earned distinguished certifications including Certified Credit Union Compliance Officer (CUCO) from Americas Credit Unions in 2019 and Certified Credit Union Internal Auditor (CCUIA) in 2025. He also completed the National Association of Federally Insured Credit Unions Management and Leadership program in 2017.
Since joining the credit union, Langlois has been instrumental in ensuring operational procedures, policies, and regulatory guidelines are upheld and complied with throughout the organization. He reports audit findings to the Supervisory Committee, which are then reviewed directly by the National Credit Union Administration during external examinations.

In his expanded role as Vice President of Compliance & Internal Audit, Langlois will serve as the primary authority on the Credit Union's compliance matters, advising on all compliance aspects throughout operations. His responsibilities will include managing all organizational policies, overseeing vendor relationships and their due diligence processes, and serving as Chairman of the Credit Union's Fair Lending Committee.
