MSGCU hosts groundbreaking for new branch at Farmington and Eight Mile Road in Livonia

CLINTON TOWNSHIP, MI –(May 6, 2015) —  Michigan Schools and Government Credit Union (MSGCU) broke ground on April 30 for its westernmost branch to date.  The new office will be located at Farmington and Eight Mile Road in Livonia.  This will be the 12th MSGCU branch in southeastern Michigan and the first in Wayne County.

“This location is a convenient destination for a number of vibrant communities, including Farmington, Livonia and Northville” said Pete Gates, MSGCU President and CEO.  “We are excited to offer increased convenience to our existing members in this area, and to offer the value of a credit union membership to others who live and work here.  We may be starting to construct a building of bricks and mortar but what we are really working to develop are important relationships within the community.”

The branch is scheduled to open this fall.
