Michigan Schools and Government Credit Union (MSGCU) is pleased to announce they have earned a spot on Energage’s inaugural Top Workplaces USA awards list in the Financial Services industry for 2021. While the Credit Union has been named a Top Workplace in Michigan by the Detroit Free Press for the past eight consecutive years, this recognition is on a national level.
The Top Workplaces USA recognition is awarded by Energage, an organization that develops solutions to build and brand Top Workplaces. Recipients of the award were categorized by industry and selected based on results from Energage’s anonymous, research-based employee engagement survey. MSGCU joins an elite group of nearly 600 organizations across the country also recognized as a Top Workplace USA and a group of nearly 200 in the Financial Services industry.
“During an especially challenging year, this recognition is particularly special for us,” says Karen Haneline, MSGCU Vice President of Human Resources. “I am humbled and energized to know our team members find meaning and value in making a difference for our members’ finances. It’s a true testament to our mission and that we do our best when we are helping others.”
“During this very challenging time, Top Workplaces has proven to be a beacon of light for organizations, as well as a sign of resiliency and strong business performance," said Eric Rubino, Energage CEO. "When you give your employees a voice, you come together to navigate challenges and shape your path forward. Top Workplaces draw on real-time insights into what works best for their organization, so they can make informed decisions that have a positive impact on their people and their business.”
