Three MSU Federal Credit Union (MSUFCU) Board members have been re-elected for 2020, April Clobes, MSUFCU President/CEO, announced. They are Sue Carter, J.D., Secretary; Bill Beekman; and Michael Hudson.
Sue Carter is a professor in the School of Journalism at Michigan State University. She has previously served as a special consultant and executive assistant to the president of MSU, and secretary of the MSU Board of Trustees. Carter was inducted into the Michigan Journalism Hall of Fame in 2007 and the Michigan Women’s Hall of Fame in 2015. Carter has served on the MSUFCU Board of Directors since 2011.
Michael Hudson, Director of Michigan State University’s Resource Center for Persons with Disabilities (RCPD), has served on MSUFCU’s Board of Directors since 2014. Prior to his board appointment, Hudson served on MSUFCU’s Supervisory Committee and was named Committee Chair in 2013. At MSU, Hudson leads a team of 20 professionals and countless volunteers to maximize ability and opportunity for over 2,700 students and employees with disabilities.
Bill Beekman currently serves as Vice President and Director of Intercollegiate Athletics at Michigan State University. He previously served as Vice President and Secretary of the MSU Board of Trustees, as well as Executive Director of MSU’s Alumni Association. Beekman has served on the MSUFCU Board of Directors since 2013, and was Chair of the Board from 2015 through 2018. Prior to serving on the board, he served on MSUFCU’s Supervisory Committee.
Additional board members include: Angela Brown, Chair; Gregory Deppong, Vice Chair; Ernest Betts, Treasurer; John Brick; Steven Kurncz; and Janet Lillie.
