MSUFCU celebrates 200,000 members
EAST LANSING, MI (June 25, 2015) — April Clobes, President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of MSU Federal Credit Union is pleased to announce that MSUFCU has recently reached the 200,000 members milestone.
To celebrate this accomplishment, the Credit Union offered a $500 cash prize and a gift pack to the 200,000th member as a “thank you” for joining. Two randomly selected members, who participated in various activities, were also chosen to win a $2,500 Visa Gift Card and a $5,000 travel package. Members were also invited to join in on the celebration by enjoying cookies at area branches.
The 200,000th member, Brian M. from Williamston, said, “I joined MSUFCU so that I could easily transfer money to my daughter at MSU. I like the ability to access my funds without fees at thousands of credit unions nationwide as well as interact with the friendly staff at the Central Park branch. Although I never thought I would become the 200,000th member of MSUFCU, I am thrilled to be part of such a large and successful credit union.”
To further celebrate this accomplishment, the Credit Union will offer a “share your story” promotion, running from July 7-31, 2015. Members will have the opportunity to share their stories about their experiences with MSUFCU via social media, where 10 submissions will be chosen and winners will receive various prizes.
