MSUFCU’s FUNtivity Zone provides free kid-friendly activities

EAST LANSING, MI (June 2, 2020) — MSU Federal Credit Union (MSUFCU) has introduced its FUNtivity Zone to provide fun and educational activities, lessons, games, recipes, and videos to engage its youth members. Each week, new activities and videos are posted with themes such as “Setting and Reaching Goals” and “Wants vs. Needs.”

“We created the FUNtivity Zone to support parents and youth members during this time when they are in need of new and exciting things to do,” said Deidre Davis, MSUFCU Chief Marketing Officer. “With attention-grabbing activities, resources, and contests offered as another free member benefit, we hope to be an additional source of financial education for families.”

Credit Union youth members can submit weekly pictures of completed FUNtivities via msufcu.org/funtivityzone for a chance to win Youth Store coins. The coins may be redeemed for prizes online.

Opening a MSUFCU youth account is easy. There are five youth account levels with tools and resources to make learning fun and interactive at any age:

  • Sweet Pea (0-2 years)
  • Dollar Dog (3-6 years)
  • Cyber Saver (7-10 years)
  • Money Club (11-13 years)
  • CU Succeed (14-17 years)
