NEW YORK, NY (November 12, 2013) — Municipal Credit Union (MCU) presented a check for $25,000 to the American Cancer Society for its annual “Making Strikes Against Breast Cancer” initiative. The donation, presented by MCU President/CEO Kam Wong and Chairman of the Board Mark S. Brantley at the American Cancer Society’s headquarters in New York City, was the result of a month-long campaign engaging MCU’s employees and 350,000 members. The donation far exceeded the credit union’s goal for raising $10,000. MCU’s support of Making Strides Against Breast Cancer is part of its ongoing corporate initiative to give back to the communities in which it members work and live.
