NACUSO Honors Ongoing Operations with Collaboration and Innovation Award
The National Association of Credit Union Service Organizations (NACUSO) announced the recipient of its annual Collaboration & Innovation Award at this year’s Annual Conference. Ongoing Operations LLC, a leader in providing business continuity solutions and strategies to credit unions, was chosen for this award, which recognizes those CUSOs who exhibit excellence and innovation in utilizing the collaborative model to bring new solutions to the credit union industry.
Kirk Drake, President of Ongoing Operations accepted the award at the 2010 NACUSO Annual Conference in Las Vegas on April 25th, stating “We are honored to receive this prestigious award from NACUSO. I think our CUSO’s success is living proof of how strong the collaborative business model is and what credit unions can create when they work together.” As founder and CEO, Kirk has successfully taken the CUSO from a “start-up” organization in 2005, to now serving over 125 credit union clients nationwide.
“Ongoing Operations truly demonstrates the type of thought, leadership and value creation we wanted to showcase through this award,” said Tom Davis, CEO of NACUSO. “Not only are they growing by serving more credit unions, they are constantly searching for new ways to deliver value and developing the next generation of technical solutions to help the industry thrive,” Davis continues.
Nominations for this award were judged based upon criteria that exemplify how the organization and collaborative model brought value to the firm’s owners, industry and credit union members. Ongoing Operations was also recognized as Runner Up in both 2007 and 2008 for the CUSO award. Past recipients of this award include Credit Union Student Choice, TMG Financial Services, CU*Answers, Member Business Lending, and CU Direct Connect.
